Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Head Chef to lead our kitchen at a vibrant Shisha Restaurant and Events Venue, renowned for its fusion of Indian, Pan Asian and Mediterranean cuisine. Our establishment is not just a restaurant; it's a hub of vibrant energy, where guests come to savor exceptional food, enjoy shisha , and revel in unforgettable events.
As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations, including food production, menu planning, and team management. If you have a passion for creating delicious dishes and leading a culinary team, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute menus in accordance with customer preferences, dietary restrictions, and seasonal availability
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
- Monitor food production to maintain consistent quality and presentation
- Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and specials
- Order and manage inventory to ensure adequate supplies are available
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Experience:
- Previous experience working in an Indian restaurant or hospitality environment
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise a team
- Strong cooking skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques and specifically Indian cuisine, with comfort to prepare Pan Asian and Mediterranean dishes
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
