Head Concierge

Head CONCIERGE, required for the reception area of a residential block of flats in the Islington area. This position is offered on a permanent full time basis and is a day time role, the hours of work being from 07.00h to 19.00h Monday to Thursday.

As Head CONCIERGE, we are looking for an individual to provide a welcoming, warm, friendly & hospitable service for residents. You will require good communication skills in this customer facing role and have good telephone, admin and IT skills so that you can deal with day to day matters whilst on duty to ensure customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a hotel / hospitality background or similar concierge experience from within residential apartments.

Job Role for Head Concierge:

• Be passionate about meeting and greeting people
• Ensure Reception Area & Public Areas of the building are clean and tidy and presented well.
• Some light cleaning duties of reception area. (training can be provided to company standard).
• Support the cleaning team by assisting them when required.
• Receiving deliveries, post, recording and distributing throughout the building. (some lifting required).
• Check identity of visitors, ensure all are signed in and out.
• Accompany tradesmen when required to residents flats.
• Accident & Incident reporting.
• Weekly testing of the fire alarm (training will be given)
• Respond to emails, telephone calls and queries from tenants.
• Co-ordinate with the General Manager on maintenance call outs.
• To be flexible in assisting different areas of the hotel in response to business and customer needs.
• Co-ordinate cleaning duties of cleaners for residents.
• Working hours, 07.00 hrs - 19.00hrs Monday to Thursday.

The Successful Candidate will:

• Have a minimum of GCSE Grade C in English & Mathematics.
• Have worked in a customer service role.
• Basic Computer skills in Word, Excel and Outlook
• Excellent Organisation and time management
• Positive and Friendly Manner
• Excellent communicator who can demonstrate their ability to converse with a wide variety of guests and colleagues at all levels.
• You must be extremely well presented and able to use initiative whilst displaying exceptional standards of customer care at all times.

The salary for this day time Head CONCIERGE role is given as 30,000 / per annum / a 48 hour week over 4 Days, Monday to Thursday.
