Job description

Hatfield Woodhouse Primary Academy are looking to appoint a Head of Academy to join our academy in September 2024 on a full-time permanent basis.
Visits to the academy are highly recommended and are available Thursday 14th March and Monday 18th March, - Please call the academy to arrange this on 01302 651031.
Here at Hatfield Woodhouse Primary School, we are on a journey of consistent improvement we are a successful school, being in the top 2% of schools with our KS2 SATs results last year with 90% of the pupils attaining age related standards in reading, writing and maths. Our Ofsted grading is ‘Good’ in all areas (February 2019).
Your new school
Our 222 children, aged between 3 and 11, come from the village itself or travel in (many by school bus) from other neighbouring villages. We pride ourselves on our hard-working staff, our supportive AAB and our delightful children. Our school was first built in 1877 and we have been striving to improve the education we provide ever since! Visitors to our school frequently comment on the lovely family-like atmosphere. The academy is a busy and vibrant place. We pride ourselves on knowing our children well and doing our best to ensure everyone fulfils their potential.
Your new role
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with the dedication, vision and drive to lead and inspire. As a Head of Academy, you will be responsible for all aspects of the internal organisation, professional leadership, management, and control of the academy and for leading supervision over teaching and support staff.
