Head of Adult Social Care Safeguarding
£550 per day

Reporting to the Assistant Director for Safeguarding, you will provide expert advice and leadership to support the safeguarding transformation along with CQC preparation.
About your role as a Head of Safeguarding
Transformation and quality assurance focus to re-shape Safeguarding within this local authority
Oversight of audit process
Assist with inquests.
Chairing board meetings
Assist with setting up a risk enablement panel
Assist with developing a universal audit process
Assist with CQC work.
Work alongside Programme Manager revising MASH
About you as a Head of Safeguarding
Relevant experience within a similar position, Extensive Safeguarding experience across career
Excellent knowledge of relevant legislation such as the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act
Warm empathetic and kind with the ability to assist with re-shaping the culture around Safeguarding
Able to be on site 2 days per week at the MASH hub in Woking, or, 2-3 days per fortnight after settling in
