Head Of Adult Social Care

The primary purpose of this post is to lead and manage the council's Adult Social Care Teams in accordance with the Council's Vision and Values, policy and other objectives.

In doing this to ensure maximum effectiveness and efficiency. To lead on the operational and strategic development of services and performance targets for services directly provided and services commissioned under delegated responsibilities.

The post holder will have responsibility for the leadership of statutory Social Care services and social work practice, including ensuring governance and safeguarding standards, in the context of the operational delivery of all Adult Social Care services within BaNES. This will include working closely with all members of the Senior Management team.
