Head of Advisory HR – Bradford – Up to £51,515

Chase & Holland are excited to be working closely with a diverse, forward-thinking organisation within the education sector who are actively seeking an experienced and passionate HR professional to join and head up the advisory division of their HR team.

Head of Advisory HR Responsibilities:
  • Working closely with senior teachers, leaders and business managers providing an accurate HR advisory service regarding employment law, statutory requirements, legal/best practice and employments practices
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders as required to ensure a structured and well-co-ordinated HR service delivery supporting in the facilitation of conflict resolution, change and promoting a positive environment/culture
  • Participating in the creation and delivery of HR training to meet the needs of the HR function
  • Gathering and analysing HR data in order to report and underpin effective HR management and planning as well as carrying out detailed analysis for all mandatory returns
  • Visiting the wider HR cluster teams to review and audit, ensuring the provisions are providing an exceptional service that supports improvement
  • Liaising with the COO regarding HR issues within a timely manner and to support with/undertake projects as required
  • Driving and encouraging a culture where staff are motivated, developed and feel valued in order to achieve their best
  • Upholding and leading in the importance of commitment to safeguarding and well-being of children
  • Ensuring compliance with all policies, procedures working practices and relevant regulations
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Degree level (or equivalent) with relevant professional qualification
  • Proven HR advisory experience and track record of leading on complex HR issues
  • Experience and knowledge of HR within an education sector setting
  • Ability to mentor and motivate a team as well as managing own workload
  • Dedicated to promoting children welfare and safeguarding
  • Confident and clear communication skills
