About the role

Cambridgeshire is seeking a highly experience leader who has demonstrable experience strategically overseeing the SEND Specialist Placement and Alternative Provision Strategy and delivery. Cambridgeshire is one of the fastest growing local authorities and with that comes many statutory duties to ensure there are sufficient placements for children and young people with SEND. In the context of requiring high quality delivery within set budgets we are looking to welcome a new manager to join our Education Service that brings strategic commercial experience. They will oversee a high functioning team which comprises of inclusion officers, AP quality assurance officers, SEND place planners, and SEND finance team.

We are seeking an individual who has experience and expertise not only working in a political context, but also within an education SEND context. Previous experience in both SEND and School Organisation will be highly desirable.
