About the role
We're looking for an experienced and motivated Head of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to join the Digital Isle of Man team within the Department for Enterprise. As part of the Digital Isle of Man Executive Agency, you will support the development and implementation of the Isle of Man's AI strategy which will support sustainable economic growth and establish the Isle of Man as a Centre of international excellence for AI.
You will take a lead role within the Agency to develop AI Policy and Strategy to fulfil the Agencys purpose and objectives based on a deep understanding of AI and its risks and opportunities while considering the ethical considerations of AI development and deployment, reflecting a commitment to responsible AI practices.
You will be required to challenge and perform in-depth analysis to identify options/solutions to resolve problems and surface opportunities which may exist beyond the current initiatives within Digital Isle of Man and may involve collaboration across wider Government. This will require significant business analyst and strategic relationship management skillset as well as a proven track record of delivering AI driven solutions.
