A position has become available to join an innovative start up Microsoft consultancy, they are at the forefront of transforming data landscapes using cutting-edge Microsoft technologies, crafting end-to-end solutions that leverage our deep expertise across the entire Microsoft Cloud ecosystem.

With new projects rolling in, they need a highly skilled solutions architect with managerial experience to work alongside the CTO and the Head of engineering that is looking to take the next step, moving into a Head of position.

Someone to join this consultancy needs to be passionate for what they do and how they influence, engaging with the team and blending with the team culture and show their values align.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership and Strategy: (55%)

• Lead the team in making pivotal architectural decisions, ensuring they are in line with the company's strategic goals.
• Work in tandem with the CTO and Head of Engineering to harmonise architectural processes with contemporary technology trends and best practices.
• Engage in strategic planning sessions, contributing insights on evolving trends in business application architecture.
• Advocate for forward-thinking approaches in application design, staying aHead of emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Foster effective communication and teamwork both within the department and inter-departmentally.
• Represent the organisation at industry events, boosting its standing in the field of Business Applications and technology.
• Develop and sustain key strategic relationships, particularly in technology and business application architecture.

Client, Project Management, and Governance: (25%)

• Manage the company’s major clients and projects, acting as the principal technical liaison to ensure successful outcomes.
• Direct technical discussions and development approaches with clients and project stakeholders.
• Oversee the creation and upkeep of comprehensive documentation for Business Applications and integrations.
• Guarantee that all architectural documentation adheres to industry standards and is accessible to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Maintain high-quality architectural control in project deliveries, consistent with the company’s best practices.

Training and Development: (20%)

• Lead the initiative in defining and executing training programs for the Business Applications team.
• Cultivate an environment of ongoing learning and professional advancement within the team.
• Allocate time for personal professional development, in alignment with the team’s training objectives.
• Mentor team members, contributing significantly to their professional growth.
