We are working with a specialist catering business who are seeking an experienced Head of Business Development to join their team as they continue to expand.
As a brand they are super passionate about great food, fantastic service and providing amazing experiences for their guests!  

About the role: 

The Head of Business Development will be responsible for driving new business across their Events and Venues section of the business, continuously identifying new opportunities to build partnerships and drive forward the innovation and direction of the department.
You will be leading the venue sales teams to achieve profitability and growth, as well being responsible for acquiring new contracts for the group.

We are looking for someone confident, experienced, with a well rounded knowledge of the hospitality or leisure industries.
This person will need to flexible and able to adapt, as they will also offer support in Business Development to other areas of the business. 

The ideal candidate: 

• Experience within a similar role from a hospitality or F&B background 
• Entrepreneurial flair and business acumen
• Strong presentation, pitching and negotiation skills 
• Ability to create and lead tender processes 
• Previous experience in working with contracts is desirable 
• Proactive, flexible and a real team player 
• Sound knowledge of budgeting and margin control
• Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple projects 
• Experience in leading and managing a team
