MCS Group have partnered with a consultancy firm to recruit a Head of Business Development. Focusing on work in the public sector and non-for-profit, this individual will provide high level consultancy during roll out of their new software subscription model. Offering £60k basic with bonus and hybrid working.
Role
- Work with senior staff to provide overall strategic direction for Business Development and sales activity.
- Identify and build relationships with key stakeholders who can amplify Business Development activity.
- Performance manage team members to drive income growth across subscription services.
- Act as an advocate and be visible externally. Be comfortable to network and build relationships with prospects.
- Develop market and sector knowledge and an understanding of the needs of prospect organisations.
Individual
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- At least 6 years’ experience in a similar role - proven experience in B2B sales or Business Development
- Preferably in selling subscription based services and selling to the public and not for profit sectors.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of building and maintaining relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Excellent attention to detail with good planning and organising skills to meet targets and deadlines.
