We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Head of Business Studies. The successful applicant will be an inspirational and creative teacher with a passion for their subject. They will be committed to their own development and that of their department, and will have designated protected time to support improvements. They will have a track record of achieving excellent results and improving student outcomes. They will have demonstrated resilience and determination in their approach and will have a sustained and excellent record of attendance and punctuality in meeting deadlines. They will be able to demonstrate a committed record of enhancing and fostering colleagues and students well-being.
The Business Studies team consists of four qualified practitioners who very much work in a cohesive and collaborative way. Business Studies is taught at KS4 and KS5, it is a popular option amongst students and is a successful department which also offers Accounting at KS5. There are whiteboards and visualisers in each classroom and all staff have their own classrooms.
