HEAD OF CARE – NEAR LINCOLN (LN4) - £13.50 TO £15.00 PER HOUR (DOE) – FAMILY RUN NURSING, DEMENTIA CARE HOME

Family run Nursing, Dementia and Residential Care Home are seeking a motivated Head of Care, full time. Ideal applicant will have a few years of Care experience with NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.

Head of Care will be responsible for:

• Oversee and complete care planning within a Care Home environment, ensuring compliance to CQC criteria.
• Ensuring that Care Planning is relevant and updated in a timely manner
• Carry out complex healthcare audits, as directed under supervision
• Managing systems to track and analyse incidents, risks, complaints, as directed and under supervision
• Remain abreast of current legislation and enforcement issues affecting the organisation in addition to compliance best practices
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Effectively liaise, support and assist staff, teams and departments in meeting organisations objectives and quality service.
• Supported by senior management team.

A successful Head of Care candidate should possess the following traits:

• Organised and able to manage a busy work schedule
• Good understanding of the care plan process and appropriate clinical background
• Be able to prioritise effectively
• Personable with excellent communication skills to be able to build and maintain good working relationships with colleagues
• Basic understanding of CQC inspection criteria and good practice
• Conscientious and ethically-minded – as a private healthcare provider, patient care is of paramount importance and must come first with every decision
