Based: London Salary: Competitive* Hours:  37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday Are you passionate about supporting students with their future careers? You will be joining a small and friendly team that is devoted in helping students achieve their career ambitions We are seeking a Head of Careers & Employability to support the Managing Director, Higher Education to drive future Careers & Employability strategy. The main focus of the role includes: Providing overall strategic and operational leadership for all careers and employability activities within Higher Education, including the development of the HE Alumni services. Lead and manage the Careers & Employability department. Set and develop the Careers & Employability strategy for the institute. Collaborate with professional services and academic colleagues to champion the employability agenda and deliver Careers Education, Information, Advice, and Guidance (CEIAG) and employability services to students. Develop a recruitment program with employers to enhance LIBF's brand and provide students access to internships, placements, and employment opportunities. Ensure successful graduate outcomes, meet government targets, and collect accurate destination data. This role is student facing role and you must be willing to work from our central London campus. Working from home is possible on some days but with prior agreement with line manager. To be successful in this role you’ll need to be experienced in providing and leading on careers advice and guidance at management level, with a degree/ diploma in careers guidance or similar qualification. You will also possess the ability to understand issues at an institutional level and within the wider HE and employment sector. You’ll also be self-motivated and have strong guidance and advisory skills, with a passion for helping students succeed.
