Head of Chemistry | A bit about the role:

• This Head of Chemistry role is in a 'Good' Secondary School in Barnet, which has been praised for it's resources, friendly Science department, and dedicated students.
• This role is permanent, commencing in September 2024.
• The Head of Chemistry will come in and work closely with the Lead Practitioner for Science to ensure all design and develop curriculums and ensure the department is co-ordinated.
• You will oversee ECTs and PGCE students during their training and deliver all necessary support.

Head of Chemistry | A bit about you:

• A Head of Chemistry must have exquisite subject knowledge of Chemistry, and it would be advantageous for applicants to have adequate knowledge of Biology and Physics. 
• QTS is MANDATORY for the Head of Chemistry.
• A First-Class Chemistry Degree would be advantageous for a Head of Chemistry.
• Proven track record of excellent and effective teaching practices, with supporting references.
• The Head of Chemistry will be a committed educator, dedicated to bettering the education of their students.
