As a Head of Civil Nuclear UKyou will lead and empower the cross-functional teams to achieve the overall objectives and mutual achievement of common goals to deliver services committed to the customer.

Your needs are as unique as you are. Hybrid working is a way in which our people can balance their time between the office, home or another remote location. It’s a locally managed and flexed informal discretionary arrangement. As a minimum we’re all expected to attend the workplace for collaboration and other specific reasons, on average three days per week.

What you will be doing:

You will take the leadership of whole CNUK business, projects and external deliver of contracts.

  • Take P&L Accountability for the whole business inclusive of budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
  • Responsible for People Management of multidisciplinary technical functions.
  • Responsible for Resource Management of staff ensuring high levels of utilisation, recruitment and retention of key personnel to fulfil external contracts.
  • Own overall accountability to successfully deliver two major programmes.
  • Responsible for Senior Stakeholder management of customers, key suppliers and internal Rolls Royce stakeholders.
  • Take HSE accountability for the business unit and activities undertaken within it.
  • Drive and embed Company Health, Safety & Environment policy.
  • Lead in the engagement of the workforce across multisite.
  • Work in partnership with the site trade unions.

  • Experience managing a large maintenance/overhaul and commissioning programmes at a senior level.
  • Ability to influence and manage senior relationships through effective stakeholder management .
  • Ability to cope with ambiguity and generate innovative, solutions to challenges and problems.
  • Strong ability to work within and across multiple teams to get tasks done Demonstration of self-drive, motivation and working independently.
  • Educated to degree level with a qualification in a relevant business discipline (or equivalent experience).

To work for Rolls-Royce Submarines you need to hold a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you don’t currently already have this in place. Any dual nationals will require additional scrutiny and background checks prior to commencing work with RRSL.
