Head Of Classics/Latin Teacher

Arnold House was founded in 1905 in St John’s Wood. It is an independent preparatory school located in London, NW8, for boys from 3 to 13, and a member of IAPS (Independent Association of Prep Schools). 

We are looking for an engaging and experienced Latin teacher to lead the Classics Department and to teach Latin to boys from Year 6 to 8. The ability also to teach Ancient Greek would be an advantage, but is not an essential requirement.

The successful candidate will have the ability to inspire boys in their learning of Classics and will act as an ambassador for the subject.

The role is for three days a week. The salary will be discussed at interview. Additional benefits include school holidays as holidays with pay, lunch and pension contributions. Other benefits free lunches during term time and a cycle to work scheme.
