Head of Commissioning, Quality Contracts, and Personalisation

Hybrid Working - 37 hours per week - Permanent!

Starting Salary is £68,933 (level 1) to £77,236 (level 4) per annum ‘pro rata for part-time’

Location: Loxley House, Station Street, Nottingham, NG2 3NG

About the Role

The Head of Commissioning (Quality, Contracts and Personalisation) is responsible for:

· Providing visible strategic and service leadership, direction

· Robust management, and decision making to the Quality, Contracts and Personalisation Service, which includes the Children in Care Placements Team, the Adults and Children’s Brokerage and Personalisation Hub, and the Contracts and Payments Team.

· You will contribute to the wider Commissioning and Partnerships agenda within the People’s Department, the Council and our City and get the best outcomes for our people, demonstrating best value for our city.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Extensive experience in Children’s and/or Adult Services, with an expert understanding of Commissioning methodology and best practice in commissioning for health and Social Care.
  • A demonstrable track record in building and sustaining partnerships with wide range of agencies, and experience in market shaping and development with effective stakeholder engagement is also essential.
  • A proven ability to think creatively and laterally to create personalised support that drives good outcomes.
  • The ability to lead, manage and inspire your team with the right culture, is critical.
