A review of organisational structures has recently been completed with a focus on prioritising the delivery of high quality, customer focused services, which will deliver for the Borough both now and into the future. In order to lead the delivery of excellent front-line services, the Council is seeking to recruit a Head of Community Development.
In this role, you will be responsible for the leadership and management of the Community Development Department, delivering on a significant improvement programme and continuous improvement of service delivery to enhance the customer experience.
Working with internal and external stakeholders, you will drive the Community Development strategy and address community cohesion, social inclusion and deprivation through the effective management of funding strategies and community facilities.
