Our client school in High Wycombe is seeking a Head of Computing to lead their department and ensure the highest standards of teaching and learning are maintained. As Head of Computing, you will have a pivotal role in shaping the direction of the department and will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective Computing lessons that inspire and challenge students.

Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the Computing department, ensuring the highest standards of teaching and learning are maintained.
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective Computing lessons.
Monitor and track student progress, providing additional support and guidance where necessary.
Develop and implement strategies to improve the academic achievement of students in Computing.
Work collaboratively with other heads of departments and senior leadership team to promote a positive and inclusive school culture.
Requirements:
A recognized teaching qualification (QTS).
Experience teaching Computing to secondary school students.
Strong leadership and management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one through GSL Education)
