Head Of Corporate Affairs

This business is looking to recruit a Head of Corporate Affairs to lead internal, external, PR and CSR communications. This role will operate across the business and the wider Group reporting into the CMO. Leading a team and part of the wider marketing function, this role requires a proactive, positive and driven individual. Experience of operating at senior level in a matrix stricture at a global organisation is key.

Description

• As part of the leadership team, you will develop and implement a Corporate Affairs strategy and activities including crisis communication and issues management, internal and Associates communications, media relations, brand communications, stakeholder engagement, sustainability, public affairs, corporate social responsibility, social media engagement, executive communications, and select events and sponsorships.
• Oversees execution of strategic initiatives with the communication team both internal and externally, including brand and Associate communication campaigns, exploring innovative ways to publicize and showcase information about the business to relevant audiences.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive internal communications strategy to ensure effective communication across the organisation.
• Craft compelling messages and materials that engage employees and align with the company's vision, mission, and values.
• Oversee the development and implementation of the company's CSR strategy, including philanthropic initiatives, sustainability efforts, and community engagement.

Profile

• A degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a similar role within a global, matrix organisation.
• In-depth knowledge of Corporate communications strategies, media relations, and public affairs
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in developing and implementing strategic plans.
• Knowledge of the Healthcare/Service industry will be beneficial.
