Are you an expert at governing data within the retail space? Do you have an excellent understanding of Data governance, data engineering, and BI analytics? This role is a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-known company and spearhead the data strategy for the company.
THE COMPANY
This company is a leading retailer. They are looking for someone to come in and manage a data team made up of BI analysts, data governance managers, and data engineers. They will play a pivotal role in leading the data platform development and shaping and implementing their data strategy. They are also looking to do more advanced analytics and implement more predictive modelling throughout their offerings.
THE ROLE
- Lead data platform development.
- Establish data governance framework.
- Ensure data integrity and quality.
- Collaborate with business units.
- Monitor and analyse data performance.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Background in retail, airlines and hospitality, and service-based businesses.
- Advanced knowledge on data governance, engineering, and BI analytics.
- Advanced knowledge and expertise on SQL and ideally the azure tech stack.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
