We have an exciting opportunity for a data leader to join the digital & data team at Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Trust. This is a pivotal senior role in the department, in which you will capture and harness the power of information to help drive the organisation forward and become data driven. This position is offered as a permanent, full-time role and will report to the Deputy Director of Digital and Data.
This is an opportunity for an experienced, business-driven and forward-thinking professional to join the Leadership team as Head of Data. You will be used to managing the big picture of Data, insight and Business Intelligence in an organisation where evidence-based decision making is key. With a real focus on data and insight, you will be skilled in being both supportive coach and critical friend, able to encourage and to challenge the thinking of those around you. You will be highly visible in the organisation and have a real desire for effective working, looking to improve the efficiency of Data systems and processes.
You will be managing our growing data team and be responsible for the delivery of timely and effective data, information, and insights, to enable our Divisions, Executives and Care Professionals to be data driven in running their services to improve health care delivery. The Team are also growing in size due to a significant organisational investment.
The role will lead the Data Services Functions (Business Intelligence and Data warehouse) at Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and will be responsible for the delivery of timely and effective data, information, and insights, to enable our Divisions, Executives and Care Professionals to be data driven in running their services to improve health care delivery.
To take an active role in and promote the use of Information to managers and clinicians; interpreting the information available within the Trust’s Business Intelligence (BI) systems; using predictive techniques to highlight variation and forecast trends; and working with managers and clinicians to provide information to support improving efficiency of services.
To encourage use of the Information across the Trust, enabling staff to readily obtain the information they require through the Business Intelligence system tailored report suites and self-service information tools. The post holder will also assist with developing the skills of the Trust’s analysts in delivering an analysis and statistical service to the Trust and working with the Business Intelligence reporting tools.
This role is a critical post between the operational teams, system partners and the Data Services within the digital and data directorate.

This is a substantive full-time post in the Digital & Data Services team. The role will support clinical and corporate divisions to understand their business through the provision of a data analysis service, that enables full ward to board presentation of both day-to-day operational information, and provision of national and local data for mandatory and contractual returns including MHSDS.
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to realise the strategic vision of best in service use of Data and information for planning and decision making across all divisions and teams.
Be the expert lead for Data Services, building and maintaining strong working relationships with Trust Executive Teams and System Boards, Divisional Directors, service leads and commissioning groups. To lever these relationships to deliver on the information strategy and the use of information across these arenas for evidenced based decision making and improvements in patient care.
Lead on the provision of predictive analysis tools to promote improved forecasting and associated changes in working practice within the Trust.
Develop and deliver formal, complex statistical; and information presentations to executive audiences, to include but not limited to the Integrated Performance Report.
To lead on subcommittees including the Business Intelligence Group Meeting and attendance at IM&T committee to present associated papers and updates. To include the responsibility for the BIG risk and issues log and to escalate issues accordingly.
Responsible for Line management and associated budgetary responsibility for the Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence teams
To lead on the Data Quality agenda across the organisation.
