Location: Hybrid work with opportunities to work from our offices in Bradford, Exeter, Leeds, Birmingham, and Gateshead.

Role Description:
As the Head of Design, you will lead and develop our design capabilities across various projects, primarily within the water industry, with potential involvement in broader utilities and infrastructure sectors. This role involves overseeing technical design, managing projects from inception to completion, engaging with clients to understand their needs, and ensuring high levels of quality assurance, sustainability, and safety. You'll also mentor a diverse team of Designers and engineers, fostering continuous professional growth.

Qualifications and Skills:
We are looking for someone with a degree in a relevant design discipline and proven experience in design leadership within the water or utilities sector. You should have extensive knowledge of the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations, relevant standards and codes within the UK water industry, and a strong understanding of sustainability and low carbon design principles. Excellent communication skills, client-facing experience, and strong commercial acumen are essential.
