SalaryWe are searching for a new member of the senior leadership team, responsible for leading and directing the Digital Delivery team defining the strategy and principles to ensure successful change delivery. Has overall accountability for successful delivery of all project technology delivery, service transition, solution design and test within the CIO Department.
What you will be doing in the role:
- Providing inspirational leadership to ensure NPL’s mission, strategy and plans are articulated and understood inside and outside the organisation, that employees and partners are excited by, engaged with and focussed on its successful delivery to maximise impact and growth
- Driving the performance and potential of Technology Delivery, Test, Service Transition, Solution Design, building highly motivated, customer focused and performing teams
- Engage across the Executive, NPL Board and other strategic leaders to support IT’s growth.
- Prime interface for Programme Lead across IT development and support activities relating to the programme delivery for programmes which impact all NPL Directorates. Ensure project management methodology alignment and technology related deliverables are tracked and delivered to time, cost and quality across all change.
- Drive forward Business Case definition in conjunction with Project Lead, Business Analyst, Business Sponsors and Finance.
- Ensure compliance with appropriate internal and external governance including quality, health, safety, security and environmental legislation minimising risk to the business and enhancing NPL’s reputation
- Build strategic customer and stakeholder relationships that will enhance NPL’s ability to deliver its mission, its reputation and remain sustainable.
- Act as a brand ambassador for NPL, maximising NPL’s external reputation
- Engage with senior technology leadership across Government, DSIT and Partner Organisations
- Relationship with other Senior Leadership Team members
- Work with senior leadership colleagues to be one NPL. Ensure everyone across the organisation is working effectively together.
- Prioritise business drivers and interdependencies with relevant Exec members.
