The Role:

As our Permanent Head of DT, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our students. You will lead a team of dedicated educators, overseeing curriculum development, fostering innovation, and creating a stimulating learning environment. Your responsibilities will include:

· Developing and enhancing the DT curriculum to align with the latest industry trends and educational standards.

· Inspiring and motivating both students and staff to embrace creativity and innovation.

· Collaborating with the school community, parents, and local businesses to provide real-world experiences for our students.

· Monitoring and assessing student progress, implementing strategies for improvement, and ensuring exceptional academic outcomes.

· Leading by example, promoting a positive and inclusive culture within the DT department.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should possess:

· A degree in Design and Technology or a related field.

· Proven experience in teaching DT subjects.

· Leadership skills and a passion for education.

· Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

· A commitment to staying updated with the latest trends in design and technology.
