Head Of Ecommerce

You will be responsible for growing online performance, driving strategic initiatives and delivering best in class customer experience.

This role is integral to developing the customer strategy and translating this into a compelling roadmap of cross-channel initiatives.

Description

* Develop and execute a comprehensive eCommerce strategy aligned with the overall business goals

* Identify market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to optimize the online platform

* Lead and develop a high-performing eCommerce team of 5 people, offering direction and mentorship

* Drive the digital roadmap from a DEV and UX perspective

* Trading responsibility of the website and the content for the website

* Oversee the user experience design and implement strategies to enhance website usability

* Collaborate with marketing and agency teams to optimize conversion rates and CEX

* Work closely with the digital marketing team to support and develop marketing campaigns

* Utilise analytics to track KPIs and provide regular reports to senior management

* Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement

* Oversee software development with external agencies to land exciting change that is timely, high quality and to budget

Profile

A successful Head of eCommerce should have:

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Omnichannel experience is essential
• Contact centre experience
• Proven experience in an eCommerce leadership role with a track record for growth
• Strong understanding of online retail, digital marketing, and eCommerce technologies
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions
• Familiarity with emerging trends and technologies in the eCommerce landscape
• SFCC platforms knowledge would be advantageous
• Team management experience
• Strong stakeholder management experience including agency management
• Team player with a collaborative approach that's able to communicate and influence across all levels

Job Offer
