The Head of Engineering Services & Operations opportunity is a key position within the business, joining an experienced senior leadership team and managing the largest team within the business.

The successful candidate will take over an expanding team of circa 20+ which includes Field Based Engineers, Project Management, Internal Engineering, Quality/Health and Safety, Customer Service and Spares and will be involved in bringing further people into the team.

What we are looking for:

The Head of Engineering Services & Operations is a key hire for the business, and we are looking for someone who can lead from the front, making decisions on the service operational activities of the business which will improve the service offering of the business and follow through to deliver on those decisions.

You will be an exceptional and hands on people-manager who will forge exceptional relationships with your team, meaning you deliver a world-class service to customers and truly put the customer first in all activities.

You will lead from the front and drive service improvement as well as developing change programmes across the Service Operations functions.

You will need to be a strong people-manager who is fully bought into the values and strategic direction of the company.

We are looking for someone who will lead and manage staff from different departments and provide constructive feedback, direction, and guidance in order to maintain the smooth operation of the business.

Specific experience required:

• Considerable Service Management experience from an industrial engineering, technical or machinery background
• Qualified within an Engineering Discipline (HNC, similar or higher)
• A strong people-manager with proven experience of managing a large team.
• Strong commercial acumen
• Results oriented.
