As the Head of Engineering, you will lead and manage a diverse team of software professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation

You will define and execute a technical strategy aligned with business goals, oversee multiple software projects to ensure timely and budget-friendly delivery, and drive the adoption of modern development practices. 

As Head of Engineering, you'll be responsible for: 

• leading, mentoring, and managing a diverse team of software engineers, architects, and QA professionals. 
• Defining and executing the technical strategy aligned with the company's business goals and objectives. 
• Overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple concurrent software projects. 
• Ensuring the architecture and design of software solutions meet high standards of performance, scalability, and security. 
• Working closely with the wider business to align engineering efforts with business needs. 

We'd love you to have

• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices. 
• Proficiency in Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices. 
• Track record of driving innovation and continuous improvement within IT. 
• Ability to stay current with emerging technologies and assess their potential impact on the business. 
• Proven track record of building and leading high-performing engineering teams.

• Hybrid working – 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home
