Are you an experienced Environmental professional, with a background in the Rail Infrastructure sector, seeking an opportunity to progress your career into a Head of role?

This exceptional Tier 1 contractor have an unmissable opportunity for an experienced Environmental Manager or Head of to join their rail division and assess the Environmental impacts on a series of rail projects nationwide.

The Role

This role is to support the business on a 12-month fixed term contract for maternity cover. You will manage a small team of advisors in supporting the wider business on Environmental and Sustainability throughout their projects across the UK.

You will lead on Corporate Social Responsibility strategy & objectives and delivery of same in line with company and client requirements as well as working closely with the Group Head of Health & Safety to develop environmental targets and objectives in line with business, industry and client expectations.

Requirements

As the Head of Environmental & Sustainability you will be a full member of IEMA (FIEMA) and preferably a Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv). You will be experienced in the Civil Engineering Infrastructure sectors, preferably Rail or Telecoms.

Benefits

The salary for this role is negotiable, plus company car or allowance, Monday to Friday, Company pension scheme, 25 days holiday + bank holidays.
