THE ROLE

An opportunity has now arisen for an experienced Head of Events to join the team who will inspire the event management team and drive success across the venues both operationally and financially.

This role will oversee the delivery of B2B events across over 30 unique event spaces ensuring a seamless client journey. You will also be managing a professional, experienced and passionate events team, providing guidance as required and developing the team further.

This is a broad role that includes:

• Providing strong leadership, guidance and inspiration to the events management team
• Overseeing, managing and improving operational processes
• Focusing on customer experiences and their journey throughout
• Ownership of internal and external stakeholder management
• Overseeing operational event delivery on a large scale and at volume
• Budget and financial management and reporting
• Strong H & S management – IOSH as a minimum

THE CANDIDATE

The successful candidate will have strong and broad event management experience gained from working in a multipurpose venue, event agency, association or event organiser. You must be experienced in confidently managing and delivering large volumes of B2B events and understand how to create and sustain a successful client journey. In addition you will also need experience in direct and indirect team management as well as a H & S qualification.
