We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Head of Finance to join our team at ES Risks. If you have a background in supporting strategic direction to deliver growth & profitability, leadership of finance teams and enjoy a fast-paced environment this maybe the role for you.
We are looking for a bright, personable, self-motivated individual for this role. You will be working within the Finance team and will have responsibility for the Finance capability, assisting the Managing Directors with Compliance, Property, Marketing, and IT functions.

You will be doing:
- Leading a team of nine finance professionals.
- Designing and implementing financial strategies to include annual budgets, reforecasts and & 3-year forecasts.
- Producing monthly management accounts, trading reports, regulatory reporting.
- Processing & settlement of insurer, client & office account transactions.
- Adhering to Client Money and other associated regulations.
- Producing statutory accounts & tax returns through production of working files for the wider Group.
You need to bring with you:
- Relevant finance qualification (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) combined with minimum 3 years PQE in a broad finance role, encompassing Financial Accounting, and Management Accounting.
- Experience in London Market insurance broking and/or similarly regulated environment advantageous but not essential.
- Demonstrated commercial acumen to plan, work, and deliver towards objectives and key results, including managing and developing a finance team.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise and analyse data with accuracy, converting company goals into numbers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft precise information in both presentation and written formats.
