Position Overview

We are looking for a Head ofFootball Manager Web Development andData API  who will be responsible for leading a new department in the studio which is focused on building and maintaining a suite of web and Data applications.One of the key pillars of within this new team is our Online Research Database (ORDB), a web-based application for managing football data. Alongside it is our data API platform which supports our Business Development efforts. This API will provide reliable and secure access to our football database, enabling partners to leverage our data in their own products and services.To be successful in this role, you should have an interest in (football) data and experience working with or building out large scale applications and services. An excellent communicator with proven leadership capabilities and excellent project management skills. You’ll have a work history that demonstrates that you can operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously is essential

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop our product (s) roadmap in line with our business objectives.
  • Work with existing Product Owners and stakeholders, providing them with inspiration, guidance and support to ensure that the application meets business and user requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as IT, engineering, and BD to ensure product delivery and performance.
  • Drive the direction of our data API platform, ensuring that it meets industry standards and provides reliable and secure access to data. Deliver customer centric product outcomes to the professional market.
  • Manage relationships with external partners, ensuring that the data API platform meets their needs and expectations.
  • Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and industry data to identify opportunities for improvement and new developments.
  • Communicate regularly with senior leadership and cross-functional teams on product performance, trends, and roadmaps.

Requirements:

  • Experience in leading and managing product teams.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills
  • Strong understanding of Web Development technologies, data management, and API design and development
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality products and driving product success.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
