Head of Geography | Job Summary:

• As a Head of Geography, you will work collaboratively with your team to develop curriculums, assess progress and create plans on where your department is going.
• Build relationships with all young people to encourage their interest and participation in their education, and Geography
• You will be responsible for creating an environment which is stimulating and purposeful for all pupils to promote teaching and learning outside the formal classroom settings as a Head of Geography
• Permanent role starting in September 2024
• MPS/UPS Outer London and a TLR

Head of Geography | Key Skills Required:

• You must have a minimum of a 2:1 undergraduate degree in Geography from a Top UK University as a Head of Geography.
• QTS gained through PGCE/ Teach First/ SCITT
• A Head of Geography will have a proven background of teaching Geography up to KS5, delivering teaching at a good or outstanding level.
• A Head of Geography will know current education issues concerning terms of practice, process, and curriculum.
• Working as their newest Head of Geography, you will deliver fun educational-based learning which is tailored to each pupil's needs to ensure they will achieve positive results.
