SalaryRequired for September 2024, a well-qualified and enthusiastic Subject Leader of Geography. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with energy and vision to join a successful 11-18 girls grammar school in Reading.
This position would suit an experienced subject leader or a teacher ready to take on a key departmental leadership position and looking to develop their career in a unique and high achieving school.
We are looking for someone who is inspirational, creative and forward thinking to develop the vision for Geography, both within and beyond the classroom. Applicants need to be able to teach Geography at KS3, GCSE and A Level.
Geography is a popular subject which enjoys a high profile within the school with large numbers of students choosing to continue their studies at GCSE and A Level. We are delighted with the number of students who go on to study geography related degrees who have clearly been inspired by our teaching and the course we study.
