What you’ll achieve in the role:
The overall purpose of this role is to support the Raven Board and Executive as Company Secretary. Key responsibilities include:
Ensuring Raven Group’s governance meets all required regulatory and legal standards and codes.
Providing timely advice and ensuring a well-designed policy and assurance framework.
Leading a programme of member, executive and staff development to meet Raven’s governance standards.
What you’ll bring to Raven:
For this role, we are looking for someone with the following:
Expertise in Governance and compliance requirements of a Housing Association or similar organisation.
Company Secretarial experience.
Significant knowledge of best practice in control frameworks, assurance mapping, managing risk, and compliance.
Experience of driving organisational implementation of recommendations arising from reviews.
You will also share our values: earning trust by being open and accountable, listening with an open mind, working collaboratively, and caring about making things better.
DBS clearance will be required for this role.
