Oxford Languages delivers a range of language data products and services in over 60 languages, including bespoke lexical datasets, self-service APIs, and our flagship Oxford English Dictionary (OED).

Our partnerships with leading academic institutions, enterprising start-ups, and technology giants have embedded this content at the cutting-edge of language research and global communications. Oxford Languages content powers education technology products, search engines, and “back-end” (non-display) purposes such as Natural Language Processing (NLP).

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Growth to lead our B2B marketing strategies that will drive the growth of Oxford Languages’ licensing business. This role will lead a team to strategically plan and execute marketing strategies that resonate with businesses and drive revenue growth. You will support the delivery of Oxford Languages’ revenue goals and strategic objectives, as well as positioning Oxford Languages as a major player in the language data market.

Duties of the role will include:

  1. B2B Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive B2B growth marketing strategy aligned with Oxford Languages’ business goals and objectives.
  2. Brand Development and Management: Define and maintain Oxford Languages’ brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials and touchpoints.
  3. Team Leadership and Development: Lead a high-performing team of marketing professionals. Provide guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities to team members.
  4. Lead Generation and Customer Acquisition Campaigns: Oversee the creation of compelling marketing campaigns to promote licensing opportunities, build brand awareness, and convert our prospects into customers.
  5. Content Marketing: Lead the development of B2B-focused content, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, webinars, videos, and more.
  6. Digital Marketing: Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media, with a focus on reaching B2B decision-makers.
  7. Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with the sales and product teams to align marketing strategies with product launches, sales cycles, and customer needs.
  8. Market Research and Competitor Analysis: Stay up-to-date on industry trends and conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and threats.
  9. Data Analytics and Reporting: Analyze data to measure marketing performance, track KPIs, and make data-driven decisions.

We operate a hybrid working policy that requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the Oxford office.

About You

  • Proven experience as a marketing leader in a senior marketing role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high performing team.
  • Deep understanding of B2B marketing strategies, including lead generation, account-based marketing, and content marketing.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Proven ability to develop and execute marketing strategies that drive brand awareness and lead generation.
  • Experience working in language data and services considered a plus.
