Job Title: Head Off Health & Safety
Salary: £30 - £35 per hour
Location: St Albans / WGC
Contract: Temporary - initially 3 months
Hours: Monday to Thursday - 8.30am to 5pm - Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm (37.5 hours)
The successful candidate will need to have previous Health and Safety and be qualified to NEBOSH.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Proven experience in Health and Safety Management
- Minimum NEBOSH Certificate Level 3 or equivalent
- Knowledge of ISO
- Knowledge of COSHH system requirements is desirable.
- Full UK Drivers licence to drive to local other site
- Good planning and organisational skills
- Proficient user of all MS Office including; Excel, Word, and Outlook etc
- Assurance works
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Compliance and audits
- Awareness in legislation and advise employee and managers.
- Implement the Health and Safety management system.
- Ensure all documentation is controlled.
- Monitor compliance adhering to company policies
- Ensure all accidents, incidents and near misses are currently reported and investigated
- Undertake internal audits and produce findings in reports
- Facilities and site management
