Are you a dedicated educator with a passion for student welfare and leadership? Teaching Personnel is excited to announce an opening for a committed Head of House at a dynamic secondary school in Farnborough, starting in September 2024.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a House, fostering a strong sense of community and belonging among students.
• Support and mentor students across Key Stage 3 and 4, encouraging both academic and personal growth.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons, teaching a subject across the full age and attainment range.
• Monitor and promote students’ well-being, providing guidance and support where needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement House activities and initiatives that enhance the school experience.
• Oversee House events, competitions, and extracurricular activities to boost student engagement and achievement.

Who We Are Looking For:

• Passionate teachers with leadership skills and a commitment to student welfare.
• Both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) qualifying this year and unqualified teachers are encouraged to apply.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students and staff.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive school culture.

Requirements:

• A relevant degree or teaching qualification.
• Ability to undergo and pass a Safer in Education check.
