This is a well known and reputable company which has recently undergone a restructure and from this are implementing a new Business Partner model and organisational & cultural changes.
The Head office is in Sheffield, South Yorkshire with multiple sites around the UK.
This is a brand newly created role to support this change.
Your new role
This is an exciting and brand new role reporting to the Director of HR which is a blended senior operational and strategic role.
Responsible for the HR and Payroll teams for the operational elements of the business aswell as working closely with the HR Director on strategic projects to develop the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate and develop the HR team and function -
including the HRBPs, and HR Advisors - to deliver a high-quality, effective business focussed approach to people / employee relations. - Develop and promote HR / people activities which deliver and support a culture of high performance and employee engagement
- In conjunction with the HR Director and the Head of OD, support the delivery of the Group and subsidiary strategies by developing and overseeing the delivery of the People Strategy and related initiatives through fully aligned and coordinated People Plans.
- Working with Senior Leaders, developing and delivering innovative, sustainable, customer-focused HR/ People Plans that will support the delivery of the Group and subsidiary strategies and objectives
- Support the wider HR / People team in developing their understanding of People Operations to deliver a rounded people experience.
As this is a newly created role my client is looking for someone who has the passion and the drive to make a significant impact on the business and also shape the future of the workforce.
What you'll need to succeed.
The successful applicant will ideally have completed their Level 7 CIPD qualification - or have relevant equivalent level experience
Ideally have experience of working in a commercial environment with a headcount population of circa 400
Possess exceptional communication, influencing and leadership skills with the confidence to build collaborative relationships.
You will be able to demonstrate extensive experience in HR change management, people management, payroll, HR information and data analysis.
Have excellent organisational and leadership skills with the ability to influence and manage relationships effectively whilst also demonstrating problem-solving capabilities and judgment.
