Head of HR Part-Time

Bishops Stortford

£40,000 - £45,000 pro rata

25 - 30 hours per week which can be split over 3 or 5 days.

Must be a car driver due to location.

Responsible for overseeing all areas of Human Resources within the UK site. Ensuring managers are supported with Employee Relations and policies are followed and are in line with UK Legislation.

Key areas of responsibility

• Support Managers with all Employee Relation issues, both informally and formally including disciplinary where necessary,
• Maintain company handbook, updating in line with legislative changes, ensuring communication of the changes,
• Train and coach managers in how to deal with complex HR issues,
• Drive appraisal process, developing and supporting with training needs that arise,
• Advise on performance management,
• Support managers with probationary process,
• Maintain office training log and support with Production training,
• Schedule appropriate on-site and off-site training,
• Support Finance Manager with maintenance of Employee Benefits,
• Manage recruitment process,
• Continually improve the HR function,
• Participate when required with any organisational structural reviews,
• Resolve conflicts in a positive and professional manner,
• Own HR administration process,
• Maintain employee and workplace confidentiality.
