Due to internal promotion and growth of the business, our client is seeking to appoint a new Head of HR to oversee all strategic and operational activity across the employee lifecycle. The role reports into the UK MD, with dotted line responsibility to the CPO, and partners senior leaders across several sites in England and Scotland. It will have responsibility for leading and developing an HR team of generalists and specialists, and support not only BAU activity but also owning strategic delivery as the company shapes and grows over the coming years.

Key Skills include:

• Tangible, measurable improvement in HR practice in a previous role • Understanding of the commercial / financial drivers that underpin decision making

• The use of data and analysis to form structured proposals and arguments

• Ability to adjust communication style for internal group communication, senior team decision making or Board/RemCo proposals

• The aptitude to quickly understand complex HR legal issues and identify and propose solutions

• Demonstrable examples around effective delivery of organisational and contractual change / TUPE / Redundancy programmes

• Innovative, aspirational, driven and appropriately tenacious with a solutions focus

• Detail focused with a hands-on approach, able to follow up ideas with delivery of the improvement

• Experienced working in a complex, multisite business
