Head Of Internal Audit, Risk And Compliance

CMA Recruitment Group has exclusively partnered with a well-recognised organisation in Southampton, Hampshire, to recruit a Head of Internal Audit, Risk & Compliance. The successful applicant will take ownership of the Group’s risk management, assurance / audit program and overall compliance, working closely with the Executive Team to support the delivery of the Group’s strategy, with a focus on continuous improvement.
What will the Head of Internal Audit, Risk & Compliance role involve?

• Establishing the annual global audit and assurance programme and either delivering these audits directly, or working closely with other teams (e.g. HSE, Operations, finance) to ensure Audits are delivered on time and within budget.
• Reporting regularly to the Executive Team and Board on assurance performance including major non-conformances and findings from the internal and external assurance programmes.
• To develop and maintain a robust risk management process, ensuring regular reporting to the Executive Team and Board.
• To support development of the strategy through considering strategic risks and appropriate mitigations.
• To work closely with the Executive team and Country Managers identifying and complying with ethical standards across Global operations.
• To keep the Environmental, Social and Governance (“ESG”) policy up to date, working with the relevant functions to set and ensure delivery of relevant goals. To stay abreast with developing ESG regulations ensuring overall compliance.

What will you need?

• Full qualification ACA, ACCA, CIA or IIA.
• Extensive Assurance background within industry or a medium-larger practice.
• Excellent communication / leadership skills, with the ability to partner at Board level.
• Bright, personable and career minded.
