Attracting and retaining high-calibre people is fundamental to our continued success.Job description:The RoleWe are looking for a forward-thinking Manager to join our International office as part of their senior management team.This one-year, fixed term role is a unique opportunity for your development in the international higher education field.You will play a leading role in the development and delivery of strategies for International Relations and partner engagement by making a significant contribution to the achievement of Newcastle University's ambitious plans for internationalisation. This is an exciting time to join our team as we embark on the delivery of our new Global Strategy.The International Relations and Partnerships Team provides expert leadership and frameworks of co-ordination and support for academic and professional service units and other teams within the International Office, in a range of areas, including: management and co-ordination of a portfolio of partners and relationships, including partnerships with institutions and a range of other stakeholders such as alumni and our global public information management and data analysis creation of robust, streamlined policy and procedures to facilitate international partnership development management of International projects, including visit and event management We are keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate evidence of leadership skills and an ability to operationalise plans to achieve strategic goals. Ideally, you will bring experience of being able to deliver results against large scale targets.
