Head of IT – Nottingham

They're on the lookout for a Head of IT to lead their Nottingham-based IT department. In this pivotal role, you'll spearhead the development and implementation of IT strategies aligned with their business goals. Your primary focus will be ensuring seamless collaboration among IT teams, driving innovation, and elevating their technological capabilities.
Responsibilities:
* Define and execute IT strategies in alignment with business objectives.
* Manage project scope and timelines to ensure successful delivery.
* Provide strong leadership and guidance to IT teams, fostering collaboration and productivity.
* Coach team members in Agile frameworks and best practices.
* Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among IT teams and stakeholders.
* Collaborate closely with product owners to prioritize backlogs and new requests.
* Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles to ensure smooth project execution.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the IT department.
* Promote a sense of ownership and accountability among IT team members.
Key Requirements:
* Must have experience working in Payments, banking and/or crypto sector.
* Experience in the Proven leadership experience in IT, with a deep understanding of Agile methodologies.
* Excellent knowledge of IT techniques, tools, and best practices.
* Outstanding communication and servant leadership skills.
* Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
* Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Ideally, a degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
* Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., CSM, PSM) preferred.
Location and Benefits: This position is based in Nottingham, United Kingdom. Benefits include 25 days holiday plus BH, 3% pension, yearly bonus, and health insurance. The role is hybrid, with 2-3 days a week onsite in Nottingham
