Job description

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Jewellery to join the Rainbowwave wholesale team in Camden, London. We are looking to bring on board a seasoned professional to manage a portfolio of Rainbowwave fine and fashion jewellery accounts.  The successful candidate will have previous experience working in fine jewellery, either agency or in-house. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to join a medium sized, wholesale team at a time of growth and to utilise their existing skill set in an autonomous and varied role.

The Role:

  • Prospecting new clients on designated brands, working with territory managers to maximise reach out, as well as working alongside our Global Sales Director with the team on wider jewellery prospection.
  • Setting budgets for forthcoming seasons on your accounts and collating all information for overview with the senior management team.
  • During Sales campaign taking appointments each season for your accounts, ensuring all appointments are handled in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work directly with the brand's team in regards to, order confirmations, purchase orders, delivery updates, sales reporting etc.
  • Collate sell through information.
  • Develop sale strategies alongside our Global Sales Director
  • Lead regular staff trainings to provide product knowledge and promote the brand’s culture in order to improve sales.
  • Active participation and planning (alongside Global Sales Director) on market layouts, brand mix, new brands etc.
  • Support all Sales members in reaching sales targets during sales campaigns.
  • Work with the finance team to support annual budgeting and commission.

The Candidate:

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role. Candidate must be based in London. 
  • Proven ability to work independently from bottom to top.
  • Dynamic and confident - ability to flex style to suit different clients and their needs.
  • Global network of retail contacts to draw upon and proven experience in building relationships with key players.
  • Excellent data and analytical skills to clearly demonstrate all sales activities.
  • Emotionally intelligent with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and campaigns in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment as part of a medium sized team.
