Responsibilities

• Leadership of account management team (resource & succession planning, budgeting, recruiting, performance reviews, etc)
• Skill & capability development of Acct Mngrs to world-class, incl. formal training, community building, best practice sharing, coaching on AM role expectations, etc.
• Leadership of (DSC commercial) business processes related to existing customers like CXM, renewal planning, contract lifecycle compliance, etc.
• Championing of global/ regional Account Management programs on country level, e.g., Customer BASICS
• Regular alignment with other closely related functional leaders like Business Development, Operations, Solution Design, etc.
• Contributing to the country's business success through a highly relevant and effective Account Management function
• Customer Experience / driving positive change towards a customer centric organization
• Retention of existing business
• Increasing share of wallet with existing customers
• Representation of country on regional Account Management Leadership team
• People & Team Management

Requirements

• 10+ year experienced in related job
• Leadership skills and experience, esp. in matrix environments
• Experience in a client-facing role and commercial acumen
• Resilience & Confidence - being able to stand one's ground when dealing with tough and highly demanding stakeholders
• Exceptional communication, facilitation and presentation skills at all levels
• Contract logistics background is preferred
