Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Managing daily operation of warehousing and logistics• Establishing KPIs and service levels, ensuring stock accuracy• Planning storage and transport based on forecast, minimizing costs• Improving existing warehouse and 3PL arrangements• Ensuring health and safety compliance• Driving business improvements and cost reduction• Planning workload and staff recruitment• Supporting staff development and training• Managing stock takes and reconciliation• Optimizing vehicle utilization and introducing economy initiatives
Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in similar role• Confident leader and decision maker• Knowledge of logistical and regulatory constraints• In-depth knowledge of warehousing, stock control, and transport operations• Experience with stock takes and reconciliation• Experience in optimizing vehicle utilization and introducing economy initiatives• Knowledge of warehousing, stock control, and transport KPIs• Ability to work as part of a team• Excellent organizational skills
