A leading biotechnology software company is seeking an innovative Machine Learning & Computational Chemistry Scientist to lead our talented team in developing groundbreaking artificial intelligence and Machine Learning methods to transform drug discovery & drug design within the small molecule and ligand space.

Responsibilities:

• Guide the company's R&D strategy and advancements as a member of the senior leadership team
• Lead teams creating novel predictive modeling and quantum mechanical approaches to enhance productivity and efficiency from compound design through optimization
• Ensure seamless collaboration with product teams to translate scientific innovations into valuable solutions that address customer needs
• Support research team members in applying leading-edge techniques to customer discovery projects and feed insights back into internal R&D to guide small molecule
• Partner with Sales and Marketing to accurately communicate our scientific capabilities and help customers derive maximum value from our platform

Qualifications:

• PhD in chemistry, Computational Chemistry, computer science or related quantitative field
• Extensive peer-reviewed research publications and conference presentations
• Management experience in a commercial environment, ideally software or drug discovery
• Experience in small molecule drug discovery
• Client facing or external partner management
