Location: London/France - Hybrid 2 days a week in the office, 3 days a month in France
Salary: Negotiable Dependent on Experience

A Financial Data Organisation has an urgent requirement for a Head of Market Analysis experienced in Food Commodities to lead talented teams of analyst in the UK and Europe
The role
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
·Developing and driving the strategy for the fundamental/Market Analysis department
·Integrating of the Market Analysis function - developing and implementing an optimal operating model that will enable the growth of this sub-function
·Unifying the methodology and content across the organisation's brands, including reviewing current products and proposing a new structure to deliver high value to customers
·Integrating global analyst teams under one leadership, driving performance and collaboration
·Supporting the development of a new platform by relaying use cases/customer needs in the industry where your function participates in
·Continually challenging, refining and driving operational process improvements to achieve increased productivity and quality of service
·Mentoring and developing analysts so they are respected as an authority in their markets
Requirements
·University degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering or in a similar numeric field would be beneficial
·Proven experience of commodities such Grain, Seeds or Sugars
·Proven, consistent experience in hiring, building, training, motivating, and managing teams
·Strong people management skills; acting as a role model and mentor with strong listening and coaching skills
·Excellent conceptual, verbal, and written communication skills, including the ability to simplify and clearly relay domain information in conversations, documentation and presentations
·A very positive mindset with a can-do attitude, focused on collaboration and shared goals
·Passionate about getting things done and able to engage people across the business to complete goals and quickly drive value
·Able to make effective decisions within fast-moving delivery environment
·Availability to spend at least 3 days/month in France
